"Critter"pillar

Kids crafts are always great fun. Special shout out to my really sweet new sister in law Nicole for finding these! Little known secret is that my office has four windows in it with blinds covering them. Since I don’t have a ton of wall space to hang things I often will clothespin the kids artwork to the string on the blinds. With these critterpillars I can now showcase the kids art in a much cuter way! (Or, like Nicole said...put a magnet on the back for a super cute way to hang the kids artwork on the fridge!)

You will need:

* Multiple sized pompoms, I grabbed sparkly and plain

* Googly eyes

* Elmer’s school glue

* Clothespin

Step One:

Put a line of glue on the clothespin, and place your pompoms on the glue strip.

Step Two:

To create the head and body look, make sure to use a larger pompom for the head, you can taper down however you’d like.

Step Three:

Glue on the googly eyes and the “ears” (ahem...antennae). Sit back and admire your little critter.

Step Four (Optional):

Add magnets to the plain side of the critterpillar and use on your fridge! (Not pictured, we skipped this step!)

Final Verdict? I feel many gifts coming from this—heads up Nicole (act surprised when you get one—K? Oh! how cute would this be as a little fundraiser if you have a kiddo passionate about a cause?

Kid Friendly? Yes! Mom or Dad, you might have to hold the googly eyes on until they “set” but otherwise 100% kid made and 100% kid approved!

TRieD! And Succeeded!
