Jingle Blocks
Another reversible craft for you today! Remember back for our Thanksgiving month we wanted to "Give Thanks" with a simple little block craft? Well, those blocks have extra side ready for us to decorate for Christmas! Depending on where you display it, you could potentially put multiple holidays on these little blocks! Or, for a really cute Christmas gift, grab a picture of your kids and make a little block puzzle out of it! Let's get started!
You Will Need:
* Christmas themed scrapbook paper
* Letter stickers (I learned from my "too light" sticker mishap last time and picked black)
* Scissors, ruler, glue
* Give Thanks blocks (or plain 1 1/2" blocks)
Step One:
Measure out approx 1 1/4" squares, this doesn't need to be perfect because you can trim down once they are cut out.
Step Two:
Cut out the squares and trim down so they fit nicely on the face of the blocks.
Step Three:
Use a glue stick and glue your squares on to the blocks.
Step Four:
Put your stickers on and display proudly! (Note: I realized I didn't need the extra plaid piece so I changed it out to a snowflake block and added an exclamation point).
Final Verdict? Adorable way to reuse a Thanksgiving decoration and get two uses (or potentially more for another holiday down the road!)
Kid Friendly? Yes! Just like last time I had Boose cut out the squares and glue them on (she does a great job with cutting and gluing!)
Tried! And Succeeded!
